PendulumTimer (“the App”) is a meditation and focus timer application developed by M.H. Studios. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use our App.
1. Session Data (Stored Locally)
The App collects and stores the following data locally on your device only:
- Session start time: When you start a timer session
- Session end time: When you complete a timer session
- Session duration: How long each session lasted
Important: This data is stored only on your device and is never transmitted to our servers or any third parties. You can export this data as a CSV file for your personal use.
If you purchase the Pro upgrade:
- Purchase transactions are processed by Google Play
- We do not collect or store payment information
- Google Play handles all payment processing securely
- We only receive confirmation that you own the Pro upgrade
3. Advertising Data (Free Users Only)
The App displays advertisements using Google AdMob for free users. AdMob may collect:
- Device information (device type, operating system)
- Ad interaction data (clicks, impressions)
- Approximate location (based on IP address)
- Advertising ID
Note: Pro users do not see ads and this data is not collected for Pro users.
Session Data
- Displayed in the Statistics screen to show your focus history
- Used to calculate total time focused and longest session
- Can be exported by you as a CSV file
- Never shared with anyone
Purchase Data
- Used only to verify your Pro upgrade status
- Managed entirely by Google Play Billing
Advertising Data
- Used by Google AdMob to display relevant advertisements
- Helps support the free version of the App
- Managed by Google’s advertising services
Data Storage and Security
- Session data is stored locally on your device using Android’s Room database
- No cloud storage: We do not upload your data to any servers
- No account required: The App does not require registration or login
- Data deletion: Uninstalling the App deletes all locally stored data

- Opt out of ads: Upgrade to Pro to remove all advertisements
Data Retention
- Session data: Retained locally on your device until you delete it or uninstall the App
- Purchase data: Retained by Google Play as long as you own the Pro upgrade

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by:
- Updating the “Effective Date” at the top of this policy
- Posting the new Privacy Policy in the App and on our website
